One Hundred and One Uses for TC-11

Note: The applications for TC-11 presented below were provided to I.C.C. Industries, LLC by end users and have been tested for validity by I.C.C. Industries, LLC. However, consumers should exercise common sense and caution when using TC-11. Please follow all instructions on the packaging labels and heed all warning labels.

Household

1.     Squeaking hinges - A small amount of TC-11 will eliminate the squeak and prevent it from returning for a year or more.

2.     Window operating mechanism - A few drops of TC-11 will make window operating mechanisms operate smoothly for a year or more.

3.     Locks - A drop of TC-11 on a key will keep a lock operating smoothly for a year or more.

4.     Frozen Locks - Spraying TC-11 into a lock with the extension tube will un-freeze a frozen lock. TC-11 can be used to "overhaul: a lock by spraying a large amount of TC-11 into the lock and letting it drain overnight.

5.     Tools - wiping down your tools with a cloth and applying a thin coat of TC-11 once a year will keep the tools rust free.

6.     Felt pens - TC-11 and a paper towel removes the ink from felt pens without affecting the underlying painted or plastic surface.

7.     Indelible ink - TC-11 and a paper towel  removes indelible ink from most surfaces without affecting the underlying surface.

8.     Permanent ink - with a little effort TC-11 removes permanent ink from most surfaces  without affecting the underlying surface.

9.     Rust stains on marble and porcelain  - TC-11 and a paper towel removes rust stains  without marring or affecting the surface.

10.   Rust stains on fiberglass - TC-11 and 0000 steel wool removes rust stains on fiberglass without scratching the surface.

11.   Rust on chrome - TC-11 and 0000 steel wool removes rust stains on chrome without scratching the surface.

12.   Rust on steel - TC-11 and steel wool or a small stainless steel wire brush removes rust on steel.

13.   Frozen parts and fasteners - TC-11 frees frozen fasteners in seconds, even if you have tried every other product without success.

14.   Adhesive residue - TC-11 and a paper towel removes adhesive residue without marring the surface or affecting any type of rubber, pant, or plastic.

15.   Paint over spray - TC-11 and a cloth easily removes paint over spray  before it has set.

16.  Clocks - a drop of TC-11 on movements prevents corrosion for a year or more.

17.  Garage doors - a drop of TC-11 on rollers eliminates squeaks for a year or more.

18.   Zippers - TC-11 frees frozen zippers without harming the adjacent material.

19.  Sliding doors - a few drops of TC-11 applied to the rollers provides smooth operation for six months or more.

20.  Sewing machines - a drop of TC-11 on moving parts will provide lubrication and prevent corrosion for six months or more.

Cars

21.   Electrical system water displacement - TC-11 will displace water from a wet electrical system to make it work.

22.   Electrical system waterproofing - A thin coat of TC-11 makes electrical systems waterproof for four months or more.

23.   Battery terminals and fuse holders - a thin coat of TC-11 every four months will keep battery terminals and fuse holders corrosion free.

24.   Clouded headlight lenses - TC-11 will remove the oxidized plastic on headlight lenses without affecting the plastic lens.

25.   Hinges - a drop of TC-11 on the door, hood, and trunk hinges will prevent rust for a year or more.

26.   Center Rear view mirror - a drop of TC-11 on the rear view mirror ball joint will make it easy to adjust for a year or more.

27.   Undercarriage - a thick coat of TC-11 on non-undercoated parts will prevent damage from water and road salt. The TC-11 should be re-applied at four month intervals.

28.   Cleaning - TC-11 is excellent for cleaning parts prior to assembly.

29.   General lubrication - TC-11 is an excellent penetrating semi-permanent lubricant.

30.   Chassis squeaks - a heavy coat of TC-11 on the moving parts will eliminate squeaks for six months or more.

31.   Throttle cables - a thin coat of  TC-11 every four months will keep throttle cables working smoothly.

32.   Latches - a thin coat of TC-11 every six months will keep latches operating smoothly for six months or more.

33.   Engine Compartment Metal parts - a thin coat of TC-11 applied on metal parts every four months eliminates corrosion.

34.  Transmission - a heavy coat of TC-11 applied to the outside of the case prevents corrosion and frozen fasteners.

35.   Ignition - a small drop of TC-11 on a key once a year keeps the key from sticking in the lock.

36.   Door and trunk locks - a drop of TC-11 on a key once a year keeps the locks operating smoothly.

37.   Repairs - spraying the item to be repaired prior to disassembly eliminates frozen fasteners. and parts.

38.  Cleaning - TC-11 is excellent for cleaning internal parts and areas prior to assembly.

39.   Tar and Insects - TC-11 and a soft cloth easily removes tar and insects without affecting the paint.

40.   Brake bleeders - applying TC-11 to brake bleeders prevents breakage of the bleeder when it is rotated to bleed the brakes.

41.  Rust spots - a heavy coat of TC-11 will stop exiting rust spots from increasing in size until a proper repair is completed.

Construction

42.   Concrete - TC-11 removes recently set concrete from tools and equipment.

43.   Hand and Power Tools - A thin coat of TC-11 keeps tools corrosion free, even if the are left out overnight or they are rained on.

44.   Pneumatic tools - TC-11 is an excellent interior and exterior lubricant for pneumatic tools. 

45.  Table saws - a thin coat of TC-11 prevents table saws from rusting.

46.  Forms - a thin coat of TC-11 is an excellent release agent.

47.  Form storage - a thick coat of TC-11 prevents corrosion damage during storage.

Boats

48.   Corrosion control - a light coat of TC-11 on metal parts will prevent corrosion 100%.

49.   Throttle, steering and shift linkages - a heavy coat of TC-11 will prevent water from entering the sheath.

50.    Inboard engine - a wash down and a thin coat of TC-11 on the engine every three months will keep it corrosion free.

51.   Outboard engine - a thin coat of TC-11 under the engine cover every 12 months will keep it corrosion free.

52.   Valves - a light coat of TC-11 applied every three months will keep valves working smoothly.

53.   Fittings - a light coat of TC-11 applied every three months will keep fittings corrosion free.

54.   Pulleys - a light coat of TC-11 applied every three months will keep pulleys operating smoothly.

55.  Tracks - a light coat of TC-11 applied every three months will keep tracks operating smoothly.

56.  Stanchions - TC-11 and 0000 steel wool will remove rust stains and leave a protective film for a month in full sunlight.

57.  Steering - a light coat of TC-11 every three months will keep steering mechanisms operating smoothly and corrosion free.

58.   Electrical - a light coat of TC-11 applied to connectors every three months will keep the connectors corrosion free.

59.  Waterproofing - a light coat if TC-11 applied to electrical connectors every three months will prevent failures when they get wet.

60.  Through hull fittings - a light coat of TC-11 applied every three months will keep fittings corrosion free.

61.  Personal Water Craft - a light coat of TC-11 applied after rinsing will keep the PWC in new condition indefinitely.

61.  Ball hitch - a thin coat of TC-11 on the ball hitch every three months prevents corrosion and provides lubrication.

62.  Electrical connectors - a thin coat of TC-11 every three months keeps the electrical connectors corrosion free.

63. Springs and shackles - a thick coat of TC-11 keeps the springs and shackles corrosion free.

64.  Wheels - a thick coat of TC-11 prevents frozen lug nuts.

65.  Structural members - spraying  a heavy coat of TC-11 into the vent holes twice a year reduces corrosion.

66.  Lights - spraying  a light coat of TC-11 into the light enclosures  four times a year prevents corrosion.

67.  Winch - spraying a thin coat of TC-11 on to the moving parts of the winch after every use prevents corrosion.

68.  Height adjuster - spraying TC-11 on to the height adjuster after every use prevents corrosion.

69.  Corrosion control - a thin coat of TC-11 applied to the metal parts of the bike every three months prevents corrosion.

70.  Lubrication - a thin coat of TC-11 on the chain, derailleur, pivots, and cables four times a year provides excellent lubrication.

71.  Rust removal - TC-11 and 0000 steel wool easily removes rust from chrome surfaces and leaves a protective film.

Guns

71.  Cleaning - TC-11 is an excellent product for cleaning guns, including the barrel. TC-11 does not affect bluing.

72.  Storage - a heavy coat of TC-11 will protect a gun in storage for a year or more.

73.  Operation - a thin coat of TC-11 will prevent water from harming a gun in the field.

74.  Cleaning paint guns - TC-11 is perfect for cleaning paint guns without affecting the seals and gaskets.
