TC-11^® Cleans Clouded Headlight Lenses

Clouded headlight lenses are an increasingly common sight. TC-11  can restore the lens with virtually no effort. An example of a typical clouded lens is presented below.

Simply spray on TC-11 and wipe it off with a soft  cloth. The appearance of a restored lens is presented below.

The clouding is caused by particles of plastic that have become oxidized. TC-11 causes the oxidized particles to lose their grip on the underlying plastic so they are easy to wipe off. This means that the clouding is permanently removed. Additional plastic particles will oxidize over time, so it may be necessary to repeat the process on an annual basis. One way to avoid the problem is to apply paste wax to the headlight lens.
